Do you have a hard time remembering when your books are due? What about the books other family members checked out? Cut down on your fines by using Library Elf, it is FREE!

 

What does Library Elf do? 

- sends reminders, by email, RSS, or cell phone text message, when library books are due (overdue) or ready to be picked up

- consolidates information for all family card holders in one email/RSS/text

- provides information on multiple accounts, such as holds, due dates and items to be picked up in one simple calendar format

You can even keep track of multiple libraries; including Yolo County Libraries. 

 

Library patrons may set up free accounts with Library Elf to participate in the services. You will need an email address, library card number and PIN to set up a free account. Your PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. Just be sure to chose "CA - Dixon Public Library" in the list of libraries. 

 

Library Elf is an independent web service not affiliated with the Dixon Public Library that accesses your library account to send you notification of materials coming due or materials on hold. While every effort is made to notify you, email or text messaging notification can fail to be delivered for a variety of reasons. This service is in addition to the notifications you currently receive from the library. Dixon Public Library is not responsible for missed holds or overdue fees due to Library Elf.
