There are many homeschooling materials available at the Dixon Public Library including books and magazines. You may also find materials through the SPLASH catalog. Ask a librarian to help you find them!
The California Virtual Academies offers instruction for grades K-12. As a public charter school program, there is no tuition. Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Music, and Art are the core courses. There are also other courses in the appropriate grade levels, such as Physical Education. They provide all the textbooks and instructional materials that are needed to complete the program. These books and materials are sent to students directly. Each family will be loaned a computer system (including computer, printer, software, and Internet connection) to support the learning process.

They provide information about CHN, current state and federal legislation affecting home schooling families, and how to get started educating your children at home.
